On Sunday 9th June, over 40 of our Arla farmers will open their doors, welcoming thousands of visitors to their farms for Open Farm Sunday. Families will have the chance to meet our Arla farmer owners, their prized cows, and even baby calves. Children can learn about what cows eat, where they sleep, and discover the milk-making process through participating in an information trail and lots of other fun activities.

Great Yorkshire Show

On 12th-14th July, Arla were at The Great Yorkshire Show launching Arla Farmers Milk, an exciting new product that gives an additional 25p right back to the farmers, you may have seen us on ITV News, Radio Yorkshire and The Yorkshire Post! People were given the opportunity to pledge their support to Arla farmers and vow to buy farmer-owned products only by participating in an exciting social media thunderclap. We also got the word out there about Arla’s Choose Goodness campaign. People got to taste the breakfast range, grab bespoke goody bags and take home TV chef Gizzi Erskine’s delicious breakfast recipes.

Royal Highland Show

On 23rd-26th June, we were up at the Royal Highland Show to get people tasting Arla’s wider product range. Families had the chance to put themselves into the shoes of the farmers by posing for photos with cow statues and taking snaps at the selfie station. Kids got involved with a fun dairy quiz where they could learn more about the farming industry and win great prizes along the way.
