Raspberry Sorbet

Raspberry Sorbet

This healthy raspberry sorbet has a fabulous raspberry flavour. Serve it for dessert at a buffet or after a good dinner. Some fresh raspberries sprinkled on top are great too!

Ingredients

1 Vanilla pod
100 ml Water
80 g Caster sugar
250 g Raspberries
300 ml Sour cream

Instructions

Step 1

  • Halve the vanilla pods lengthways. Put in a pan of water and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes and then let it cool completely. Take out the vanilla pod.

Step 2

  • Mix the raspberries with syrup mixture and stir in the sour cream. Use either an ice cream maker to make the sorbet or freeze the mixture in a bowl.
