Matcha Latte with Maple Syrup

Sweetened with maple syrup, this matcha latte is the perfect way to enjoy a quiet moment and indulge in some quality me-time.

Ingredients

250 ml Semi-skimmed milk
1 tsp Matcha powder Tea Powder
1 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tbsp Boiling water

Instructions

Step 1

  • Add the matcha tea powder and maple syrup to mug. Pour in 1 tbsp boiling water and stir to form a thick paste.

Step 2

  • Heat the milk in small saucepan set over low heat for 5 minutes or until steaming.

Step 3

  • Pour the heated milk into a mug and stir until blended with the matcha paste.
Enjoy!

Use an electric milk frother for a foamy drink.

Substitute maple syrup with honey or agave syrup.

Alternatively, heat the milk in microwave safe cup on HIGH for 30 to 45 seconds or until steaming.
