Classic Pancakes

Pancakes are an everyday favourite! Here is a simple recipe for thin pancakes. Cook and serve with either jam, whipped cream, ice cream or quark.

Ingredients

600 ml Semi-skimmed milk
180 g Wheat flour
3 Eggs
½ tsp Salt
2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

Step 1

  • Mix the flour and half of the milk into a batter. Whisk in remaining milk, eggs and salt until smooth.

Step 2

  • Let batter sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

  • Melt a knob of butter in a hot frying pan. Pour some of the pancake batter into the frying pan so it covers the whole pan as layer thin. Wait for bubbles to form on the top, then flip. Cook until golden on both sides.
Enjoy!

Goes great with jam, whipped cream, ice cream or quark!
