Black Forest Oats

This chocolatey twist on traditional porridge means you can enjoy something sweet at sunrise and still feel smug. Simply leave the ingredients to soak overnight and voilà – breakfast is ready before you are!

Ingredients

100 g Rolled oats
100 g Dark Sweet cherries
1 Drop Vanilla essence
1 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 pinch Salt

Instructions

Step 1

  • Stir all of the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl until combined.

Step 2

  • Pour the mix into a pint size mason jar, cover and leave to soak in the fridge overnight.
