Shish Kebab

Shish Kebab

Meat on skewers accompanied by a hot and creamy vegetable mix.

Ingredients

500 g Boneless Lamb Roast
1 tsp Dried thyme
1 tsp Salt
1 pinch Black pepper
2 Small Brown white onions
10 g Butter
300 g Aubergines
2 Garlic cloves
1 Can of Whole tomato
2 tbsp Tomato purée
1½ tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Ground cumin
1 Can of kidney bean
200 ml Creme fraiche
Fresh mint

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cut the meat into pieces and mix with the spices. Peel and quarter the onions. Put the meat and onions on small wooden skewers.

Step 2

  • Cut the aubergine into pieces. Peel and chop the garlic. Fry the aubergine and garlic in 5 g butter in a large frying pan.

Step 3

  • Put the tomatoes in a pan with the tomato puree, salt, chillipepper, cumin, kidney beans and half the amount of the crème fraîche. Let the mixture boil for a few minutes. Sprinkle with mint.

Step 4

  • Fry the kebabs in 5 g butter for 2 - 3 minutes on each side. Serve with a little crème fraîche, salad and orange slices.
