Sausage Couscous

Sausage Couscous

A colourful couscous with sausages and vegetables. Great served with a good sauce!

Ingredients

400 g Couscous
400 ml Water
1 Chicken stock Cube
3 Chorizo sausages
1 White onion
5 g Butter
2 Pepper
200 ml Creme fraiche
1 Pressed garlic clove
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Sambal sauce

Instructions

Step 1

  • Boil the stock and stir in the couscous. Cover the pan and set aside for about 6 minutes.

Step 2

  • Cut the sausage into slices. Peel and chop the onion. Cut the peppers into pieces.

Step 3

  • Fry the sausage, onions and peppers in the butter in a large frying pan.

Step 4

  • Mix with the couscous. Mix all the remaining ingredients together in a bowl to make the sauce and serve it with the couscous mixture.
