Pavlova with Fruit Cream

Name: Pavlova with Fruit Cream
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients: 125 g sugar; 2 egg whites; 200 ml whipped cream; ½ litre Frozen berries

A classic dessert. You can bake the meringues the day before.

Ingredients

Whip the egg whites until they are stiff. Whisk sugar and baking powder into the mix. Divide the meringue into paper baking dishes (about 100ml).

Use a wet spoon to create a dip in the middle of the meringue. Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven for approximately 5 minutes and switch off the oven.

Allow the meringues to dry in the oven heat for at least 4 hours, without opening the door.

Whip the cream to a light froth. Mash half of the berries and stir them into the whipped cream.

Divide the whipped cream into the meringues and garnish with the whole berries. Serve immediately.
