Arla Skyr Creamy with cherries and almond flakes


Step 1
  • For the preserved cherries, cut the cherries in half and remove the stones.
Step 2
  • Heat the water, sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Step 3
  • Add the cherries and bring to a simmer.
Step 4
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let cool completely before the serving.
Step 5
  • Keep the cherries in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
Step 6
  • To complete the meal, divide the skyr between two serving bowls.
Step 7
  • Spoon the cherries over the skyr and sprinkle with the flaked almonds.
Top Tip

Flaked almonds toast perfectly at 150 °C for 20-25 min.
