What to put in a granola with quinoa?
In this granola blend, we combined quinoa with oats and spelt flakes. But use your imagination and add your favourite flavours and various textures to make it more exciting. Consider mixed chocolate chips or shavings, chopped nuts, various seeds, shredded coconut, or dried fruits like raisins, cranberries, apricots, or cherries for a touch of sweetness.
What other toppings go well with granola with quinoa?
Granola with quinoa becomes a tasty treat when you mix in pomegranate seeds for a refreshing twist, some roasted hazelnuts for nutty goodness, and some thyme for a hint of herbal goodness. And if you are in the mood for even more toppings, you cannot go wrong with fresh fruits like sliced bananas, a mix of berries, chopped apples or pears, or tropical favourites like mango and pineapple – they will bring in a burst of natural sweetness and juiciness.
How long can you keep granola with quinoa?
If your granola is completely cooled and dried, you can store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 weeks. Make sure the container is tightly sealed to prevent moisture from getting in, as moisture can lead to a decrease in the granola's crispiness.
