Christmas Chia Alamande

Ingredients

2 tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Vanilla powder
¼ tsp Ground cloves
1 tsp Ground cardamom
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
5 tbsp Chia seeds
200 ml Semi-skimmed milk
200 ml Yogurt, plain
75 g Almonds (Coarsely chopped, with shell)
150 ml Cream

For Blueberry Compote

250 g Frozen blueberries
100 g Sugar

For Toppings

Oranges (Cut into small pieces)
Fresh passion fruits
Pomegranate seeds
Toasted almonds
Fresh blueberries

Instructions

Step 1

  • Add the sugar, vanilla powder, clove, cardamom, cinnamon and chia seeds to a bowl. Add the LactoFREE semi-skimmed milk and LactoFREE natural yogurt. Stir everything well and place the chia alamande covered in the fridge overnight.

Step 2

  • For the Blueberry Compote, put the frozen berries in a pan with the sugar and cook for about 6 min. Leave to cool.

Step 3

  • Stir the chopped almonds into the chia mixture. Whisk the cream to whip and fold it in.

Step 4

  • Spread the orange pieces and compote at the bottom of a small serving glass. Spoon the chia mixture into the same glass and top with fresh passion fruit, pomegranate seeds, toasted almonds and fresh blueberries.
