Flavoured Banana Cake

Be sure to bake this American favourite of banana cake when you have bananas at home that are beginning to mature. Delicious and juicy with cinnamon flavour.


Step 1
  • Heat the oven to 175 °. Grease a rectangular loaf tin that holds about 1 ½ litres.
Step 2
  • Melt the butter and pour in the milk. Whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy. Peel and mash the bananas.
Step 3
  • Stir in the bananas, cinnamon and flour mixed with baking powder and bicarbonate into the egg mixture. Quickly add the milk mixture and pour the batter into the tin.
Step 4
  • Bake in the bottom of the oven for 55-60 minutes.
