Sizzling Stir-Fry

Cook up a storm in the kitchen with this easy-peasy stir fry recipe. Get the little ones to help choose ingredients and get everything together so you’re ready to start sizzling!


Step 1
  • Start by putting your noodles in a heat-proof bowl and covering them with boiling water. Leave them to chill in their hot tub while you prepare everything else.
Step 2
  • Add the oil to a wok or large frying pan over a high heat and fry the chicken until it’s just about cooked through. Be careful with kids near the pan as the oil can splutter!
Step 3
  • Now add your garlic paste, ginger paste, and soy and fry for about a minute to release all those lovely flavours.
Step 4
  • Add the carrot, red pepper, and mange tout and fry for about 5 minutes, then stir through half the spring onion and your choice of sweet chili or oyster sauce.
Step 5
  • Drain the noodles and add them to the sizzling wok. Give everything a good mix up and cook for about a minute more.
Step 6
  • Serve up your delicious stir fry and garnish with the remaining spring onion and sesame seeds if you have them. Now dive in and enjoy!
Top Tip

You can mix up your stir fry recipe with different meats and vegetables – just go with what you feel like or whatever you have in your fridge.
