Oatscones with Dark Chocolate

Step 1
  • Beat the eggs with honey. Stir the LactoFREE Spreadable into the eggs together with the LactoFREE milk.
Step 2
  • Add the other ingredients and knead well into a dough.
Step 3
  • Roll out the dough to about 2cm thick on a floured table.
Step 4
  • Cut out scones with a round cutter - about 7 cm in diameter.
Step 5
  • Place them on a baking sheet with baking paper and brush with beaten eggs.
Step 6
  • Bake the oatmeal scones in the middle of the oven – 200° degrees for 10-12 min. They must be raised and golden at the edge.
Step 7
  • Bake the oatmeal scones in the middle of the oven – 200°C degrees for 10 -12 min. When they are ready they will have risen and be golden at the edge.
Step 8
  • Let the scones lightly cool on a rack and serve warm.

Omit the Dark Chocolate if preferred.
