Muesli Bars

Homemade muesli bars brushed with chocolate - great as an afternoon snack, or for your lunch box.


Step 1
  • Melt butter and honey on a low heat. Stir muesli, cane sugar and raisins into the mixture until "sticky".
Step 2
  • Mix the wheat flour with baking soda and stir into the "sticky" mixture. Spread the mixture out in a French loaf tin, lined with baking paper (approximately 10 x 30 cm).
Step 3
  • Bake the mixture in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes at 175 °. Let the mixture rest for approximately 10 minutes, until it is hard. Melt the chocolate.
Step 4
  • Take the mixture out of the tin and cover the bottom with chocolate. Let the chocolate harden, and cut the mixture into 24 bars.
