Lemon Rice

Tasty, beautiful yellow rice, the Indian way. Boiled in milk and lemon and seasoned with turmeric. This rice goes well with both spicy and fish dishes.


Step 1
  • Rinse the rice.
Step 2
  • Boil milk, stock and turmeric in a heavy-based saucepan.
Step 3
  • Add the rice and cook as directed on the packet.
Step 4
  • Fluff up the rice with a fork and stir in the lemon juice and peel. Season with salt.
