Fromage Yogurt with Almonds

This delicious dish is made from yogurt topped with a warm cherry sauce and sprinkles of crispy flaked almonds.


Step 1
  • Place gelatin sheets in cold water for approximately 10 minutes. Stir in the yogurt together with sugar, vanilla seeds and almonds. Take the gelatin sheets out of the water with the water attached and melt it in a bowl over a water bath.
Step 2
  • Quickly stir 1 cup of the greek yogurt together with the hot melted gelatin sheets and stir it into the remaining greek yogurt. Whip the cream into a light froth and gently fold it into the greek yogurt.
Step 3
  • Place the fromage in a serving glass or in a glass bowl and leave it covered in the fridge for approximately 4 hours. Serve with warm cherry sauce.
Top Tip

You can make the yogurt fromage with almonds the day before, if so, use only 1 gelatin sheet.

Yogurt cream with almonds is a nice alternative to rice pudding!
