Elderberry Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce

Make your own ice cream with the taste of elderberry and serve with strawberries!


Step 1
  • Divide the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds into a bowl.
Step 2
  • Beat the vanilla seeds, egg yolks and caster sugar. Stir in juice and natural yogurt. Beat in the cream and stir together with the egg mixture.
Step 3
  • Rinse 4 - 6 portion moulds with cold water and distribute the ice cream mix in them. Freeze for at least 4 hours. Place the ice cream in the fridge for about 20 minutes before serving.
Step 4
  • Put the strawberries in a tall container with the sugar. And mix the strawberry with a hand blender to make the sauce. Season with lemon juice.
