Classic Stuffing for Semlor Buns

The classic filling for Semlor is almond paste mixed with cream and milk. Fill the bun with the soft almond paste, freshly whipped cream and finish with a triangular lid.


Step 1
  • Make large semlor buns by following a basic recipe. Mix the almond paste and milk. Fill the bottom half of the buns with the mixture.
Step 2
  • Beat the cream. Spread or dollop the cream on top of the almond mixture. Put on the lids and sprinkle with icing sugar.
