Chocolate parfait

Chocolate parfait with dark chocolate and brown sugar gives a powerful but sweet taste. Treat yourself to this lovely chocolate parfait to finish off a gorgeous dinner.


Step 1
  • Boil the milk in a saucepan. Take off the heat.
Step 2
  • Add the chocolate in pieces and let it melt.
Step 3
  • Stir in yolk and sugar. Whip the cream. Stir in the egg mixture and a little of the cream in the melted chocolate. Stir in the rest of the cream.
Step 4
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl of about 1 litre.
Step 5
  • Freeze for 4-5 hours. Leave it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Step 6
  • Dip the bowl in warm water and scoop the parfait into serving bowls.
Topping Suggestions

This is good with roasted almonds, preferably salted.
