Chocolate Fudge Cake with Sprinkles

Seductively soft and smooth fudge with lots of chocolate flavour. There are many varieties of sprinkles in the stores, vary the topping as you like with different colours and tastes.


Step 1
  • Put baking paper in a cake tin sized about 15 x 20 cm.
Step 2
  • Boil sugar and milk in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Add butter, chocolate and honey. Stir until everything melts. Boil covered for about 3 minutes.
Step 3
  • Remove the lid and continue to boil on medium heat until the mixture has a temperature of about 117 °. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk to a fluffy consistency with an electric whisk when it has cooled slightly.
Step 4
  • Pour the mixture into the cake tin, adding sprinkles over it and let it solidify.
Step 5
  • Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or over a water bath and swirl over the fudge. Cut into pieces.
