Chocolate Fondant

A real dream dessert that should be soft and melting inside. Chocolate fondant can be prepared and stored in the refrigerator until it is baked. The recipe was created by Andreas Hedlund, Chef of the Year 2002.


Step 1
  • Heat the oven to 200 °.
Step 2
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a water bath. Let it cool a little.
Step 3
  • Cream butter and caster sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and finally the yolk. Stir in the chocolate and flour.
Step 4
  • Pour the batter into greased cake tins. Bake in the lower part of the oven for about 10 minutes.
Step 5
  • Plate up and serve them warm with cherry jam and lightly whipped cream.
