Apple sauce

Apple sauce

Initially, apple sauce was a way to preserve apples before refrigeration, achieved by cooking apples with sugar and spices. As time passed, apple sauce gained popularity for its delightful taste and nutritional benefits. It became a common accompaniment to savoury dishes, a filling for pies, and a fantastic baby food due to its soft texture and natural sweetness. Today, apple sauce is cherished worldwide, celebrated for its comforting flavour and its ability to enhance both sweet and savoury dishes.
