Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce

Children's favourite dish! Here it is served with grated cheese and parsley as a garnish.


Step 1
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan on a high heat, but without burning. Cook the carrots, onions and garlic for approximately 2 minutes.
Step 2
  • Bring the sauce to the boil and let it simmer covered for approximately 10 minutes. Remove the lid from the pan and cook the sauce for approximately 15 minutes. Taste it.
Step 3
  • Cook the dried spaghetti according to the instructions on the packet.
Step 4
  • Put cheese and parsley into separate small bowls. Pour the hot spaghetti into the saucepan with the sauce. Gently stir it around so that it is mixed thoroughly . Pour the spaghetti dish into a warm bowl and serve immediately.
