Savory Scones

Quickly put together a scone dough and fill the buns with red onion, olives and lean cheese.


Step 1
  • Heat the oven to 250 °. Mix the wheat flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Step 2
  • Cut the butter into small pieces and rub it into the flour mixture.
Step 3
  • Peel and chop the onion. Add the onion and the other ingredients to the flour mixture.
Step 4
  • Mix quickly into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 10 pieces and shape into round buns, about 5 cm in diameter.
Step 5
  • Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes or until they are a nice golden colour.
