Pasta with Cheese Sauce

Great homemade cheese sauce, made with blue cheese cheese. Great for pasta.


Step 1
  • Put the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water. Cook the pasta for approximately 9 mins, until it is tender.
Step 2
  • Add broccoli and celery and cook for approximately 4 minutes. Drain the pasta and vegetables.
Step 3
  • Stir together the flour and 2½ tablespoons of milk in a thick-bottomed pan. Stir in the rest of the milk with the stock. Add cheese in small pieces, salt and pepper.
Step 4
  • Cook the sauce at low heat, while stirring, for approximately 5 minutes. Taste and serve the cheese sauce with the pasta, vegetables, ham and olives.
