Meat Lasagne

lasagne - a family favourite. Cover the lasagne sheets with minced meat or try a vegetarian lasagne next time!


Step 1
  • Heat the oven to 225 °.
Step 2
  • Peel and chop onions and garlic. Fry them softly in butter in a frying pan.
Step 3
  • Add the minced meat and brown.
Step 4
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, pepper and stock cube. Let the sauce boil for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
  • Beat the flour into half of the milk in a saucepan.
Step 6
  • Pour in the rest of the milk and allow to boil - keep whisking. Let the sauce boil for about 3 minutes.
Step 7
  • Stir in 2 1/2 cups of cheese and season with salt.
Step 8
  • Layer meat sauce, cheese sauce and lasagne sheets in a greased ovenproof dish. Finish with sauce. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
Step 9
  • Bake in the bottom of the oven for about 30 minutes.
