Irish Vegetable Stew

Use fresh seasonal vegetables and combine them into a veggie stew - perfect for dinner!


Step 1
  • Bring water and salt to a boil in a thick-bottomed saucepan.
Step 2
  • Add the potatoes and cook for approximately 2 minutes.
Step 3
  • Add the carrots and the cauliflower and cook for approximately 3 minutes.
Step 4
  • Pour in the milk and bring to a boil. Mix the butter and flour together into a ball using a fork.
Step 5
  • Add the butter ball to the vegetable mixture.
Step 6
  • Boil the stew constantly stirring for approximately 1 minute. Add the peas and ham and bring to a boil once more. Season with salt and pepper.

Sugar Snap Peas Cut Into Approximately 2cm Long Pieces
250 g
Boiled ham In Small Cubes

Coarse salt
Freshly pepper
Freshly fresh parsley
Wholemeal bread
