Carrot Bread

A delicious and moist bread made with carrots and sunflower seeds.


Step 1
  • Heat the milk to 37 °. Crumble the yeast into a bowl and pour over the milk. Stir until the yeast dissolves.
Step 2
  • Add butter, salt, honey, carrots and most of the flour. Work the dough vigorously until it feels smooth. Prove under a cloth for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
  • Heat the oven to 225 °. Work the dough smoothly on a floured surface and then divide into three pieces. Shape each piece into a round loaf.
Step 4
  • Put them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Let rest for about 20 minutes. Then brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sunflower seeds and herb salt.
Step 5
  • Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes. Let the loaves cool on a rack.
