Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese

Eating well doesn’t mean you can't indulge. Butternut squash, paprika and fresh parsley helps create an easy creamy and comforting mac 'n' cheese recipe.


Step 1
  • Gently fry the onion in a pan for 5 minutes
Step 2
  • Add the butternut squash and garlic and fry for 2 more minutes.
Step 3
  • Add the paprika, salt and pepper and stir everything together.
Step 4
  • Pour in the milk, and add the chicken stock pot.
Step 5
  • Stir well and leave to simmer for about 20 minutes.
Step 6
  • Put the macaroni on to cook as per the packet instructions (save some of the pasta water for the sauce if it starts to look a little dry).
Step 7
  • Stir the sauce into the cooked and drained macaroni, and add the cheese.
Step 8
  • Mix everything together well and serve with a little chopped fresh parsley sprinkled on top. Enjoy!

A chicken stock pot/cube
Grated Arla® B.o.b cheddar (Mature)
60 g
Macaroni pasta
225 g
Fresh fresh parsley
