Bonfire Night Tomato Soup

Wrap up warm and enjoy the fireworks with a mug of this healthy but creamy tomato soup, made with Arla B.O.B, the skimmed milk that tastes like semi


Step 1
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan, then add the onion and garlic. Cook over a medium heat until the onion has softened, then stir in the tomato puree.
Step 2
  • Next, add the chopped tomatoes and basil leaves, and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and leave to simmer for approximately 15 minutes, until thickened.
Step 3
  • Add the bicarbonate of soda to a separate bowl, along with 1 tbsp of the Arla B.O.B milk. Mix together, then add to the tomato mix with the rest of the milk.
Step 4
  • Bring to a boil and gently simmer for 5 minutes until ready to serve
