Arla Farmer's Milk

Our farmers are based throughout the UK from the tip of the coastal Cornwall right up into the lovely Scottish countryside. All our milk can be traced back to British farms, made with care every step of the way from farm to fridge.

Mike and Amy Herridge & Family

Mike and Amy Herridge Family

Derbyshire

The Herridge Farm, which is located in Derbyshire's Peak District, is all about family working together. Mike is a second-generation farmer, whose father moved to the farm in 1966 with his then 40 cows. Mike and Amy have 200 acres of High Level Stewardship land designed to help maintain wildlife conversation, enhance the landscape and protect natural resources. As well as looking after their 350 Holstein cows, they also grow crops, which in turn requires the use of another valued asset from the farm – muck!

Mike is one of 2,400 UK farmers in the Arla dairy cooperative. He hopes to pass the farm to his family for a third generation, with the added support from the Asda/Arla partnership. For every bottle of Farmers Milk sold, an extra 25P goes back to the farmers in the Arla cooperative, helping them reinvest in their farms, finding ways to continuously improve animal welfare and sustainable farming practice.

We're proud to support British farmers like Mike. Which is why Farmers Milk gives a little back, because they put everything in – say thanks to Mike and his family when you pick up Arla Farmers Milk in the milk aisle today.
Exclusively available at ASDA.
