Flutes (Danish Baguettes)

These delicious flute baguettes are the perfect addition to any table. Create delicious and airy flutes that can be used for breakfast and lunch!


Step 1
  • Melt the butter in a pan and add the water. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the yeast. Add the other ingredients (keep a little wheat flour). Beat the dough well together.
Step 2
  • Cover the bowl with a lid and leave the dough rising in a warm place for approximately 1 hour.
Step 3
  • Take the dough out on a floured table and knead it thoroughly. Form the dough into 4 flutes (approximately 35 cm long).
Step 4
  • Place them on baking paper on a baking tray. Leave the 4 flutes to prove for approximately ½ hour. Sprinkle with salt and place the 4 flutes in the middle of the oven.
