Old-fashioned Rice Pudding
Old-fashioned Rice Pudding
Luxurious rice pudding. The rice is boiled the old-fashioned way, with milk instead of water. Yum!
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add rice, salt and about 300ml of milk. Boil whilst stirring.
Step 2
Lower the heat and dilute with the rest of the milk, while stirring. Add in the cinnamon stick.
Step 3
Allow the rice to boil on low heat with the lid on for about 40 minutes. Stir every now and then. Take care so that the pudding does not boil over.
