Potato tortilla

Potato tortilla or Spanish tortilla is often cut into smaller pieces and eaten as tapas. Potato tortilla is also great as a meal with chopped tomatoes.

Ingredients

Yellow onions

Potatoes
500 g
Olive oil
50 ml
Whipped cream
100 ml
Eggs
6
Salt
1 tsp
Black pepper
1 pinch
Chopped tomatoes
2
Rocket leaves
60 g

Instructions

Step 1

  • Peel and chop potatoes and onions into thin slices.

Step 2

  • Fry them in the olive oil on a low heat in a frying pan for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

  • Whisk the eggs and cream together. Pour the mixture into a pan and lift carefully so the batter runs.

Step 4

  • Raise the heat to medium and continue frying for about 5 minutes.

Step 5

  • Turn the tortilla and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped tomatoes and rocket. Serve with bread.
