Recruitment process

The new Eden cohort starts each September, so the recruitment process begins in January where the positions are advertised ahead of Assessment Days in May and June.

Applications are assessed via a telephone interview by Arla’s Talent Acquisition team based on academic background as well as how they fit in with the Eden values of Passion & Pride, Pioneering Attitude, Integrity & Respect and Shared Learning & Community Spirit. Successful candidates will attend an Assessment Day either at Leeds Head Office or a local Dairy, which involves testing, a group exercise and competency based interview.

Following the Assessment Day, candidates will attend a 2nd stage interview at their allocated site to meet the team and ensure it is the right move for all parties.

In recent years we have recruited between 20 and 30 Eden students per year, with many internal applicants taking positions. In 2015 we received around 300 applications across both programmes.
