Arla extends successful Icelandic style super yogurt range

Arla Foods, the farmer-owned dairy company, is extending its popular Arla® Skyr range with the launch of a new delicious flavour, Blueberry & Elderberry.

The fat free, reduced sugar and high protein Icelandic style yogurt is currently having a foodie moment in the UK.

Since launching its own range of skyr products in April 2015, Arla has seen sales of £4.3m for Arla® Skyr, with a quarter of sales coming from new shoppers to the category.

The new 150g layered yogurt - a delicious natural blueberry and elderberry compote at the bottom, topped with skyr style yogurt.

Arla Skyr Blueberry and Elderberry is available exclusively in Tesco now with other major retailers launching from early 2016. 

As well as the NEW Arla® Skyr Layered with Blueberry & Elderberry, Arla® Skyr is available in 450g pots in three flavour variants; Simply Natural, Mixed with Strawberry or Mixed with Honey and in 150g pots in five flavour variants, Layered with Sour Cherry, Layered with Strawberry, Layered with Mixed Berries. 150g pots RSP 85p and 450g RSP £1.69.
