Lurpak introduces the perfect breakfast

Lurpak have launched their Perfect Breakfast campaign to encourage us all to add a little
bit of luxury to the start of our day. Lurpak have called upon a panel of breakfast experts
to share their knowledge and experience, from beautiful breakfastware from celebrated
potter Emma Bridgewater to ideas for the luxury jetsetter's breakfast from Agent
Provocateur's owner Serena Rees.

We all breakfast differently, some spending as much as half an hour over breakfast and
others preferring the extra fifteen minutes in bed instead but nutritionist Jill Scott says
that skipping the first meal of the day not only affects our health but our mood and even
our long-term working performance.

The taste of Lurpak adds a continental flavour to breakfast and a little everyday luxury.
Whether it's a weekday slice of fresh granary bread or a quick boiled egg with toasted
white sliced soldiers, it pays to grab that quick bite.

A huge number of us now eat breakfast at our desks and research from trend predictors the
Future Laboratory suggests this will continue to be the case. Interestingly however the
research found that we are now beginning to challenge this and are clawing back more
enjoyment at breakfast time. We may be time-poor but it doesn't mean breakfast has to be a
dull experience.

Ceramicist Emma Bridgewater has created a bespoke range for Lurpak which can be put
together to form the perfect 'Deskfast Set' - a large mug and small plate - that will make
you the envy of the office, or collect the whole set to create a stylish breakfast table at
home, from teapot to butterdish.

To give us all some ideas for a more glamorous start to the day, Agent Provocateur's Serena
Rees has selected her most memorable places for breakfast around the world, whether on
business or for pleasure. If this whets your appetite, be sure to pick up a special pack of
Lurpak in store to be in with a chance of winning one of hundreds of bed and Perfect
Breakfast weekends away at some of Europe's top destinations.

Try some new recipes for leisurely weekends, get creative on weekday mornings and improve
your mood along with your lifestyle with Lurpak.
