Richard Whiteley arrived in style to a Yorkshire Butter presentation at ASDA Pudsey, when the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service Charity airlifted him to the store.
Richard, presenter of the Channel 4 quiz show Countdown and now the face of Yorkshire Butter presented the charity with £6,000 on behalf of butter brand.
Yorkshire Butter came to the rescue earlier this summer and stepped in to sponsor the official Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service Charity pin badges that were being sold to raise funds for the charity.
Customers at ASDA Pudsey have also been digging into their pockets to raise funds for the charity through in-store collections.
Sampling Yorkshire delicacies, a flying visit from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter plus a jumbo slide and balloons for younger shoppers also part of the Yorkshire Day celebrations taking place at the Pudsey store.
