For the seventh year running, ASDA's 260 stores and depots are joining forces to raise money for breast cancer care and this year Arla Foods is getting in on the action.
Arla has produced an ASDA own label strawberry yogurt especially for the charity, which is specially packaged to fit the 'Tickled Pink' theme of this year's fundraiser.
The yogurt features a 'top hat' containing crunchy muesil topping and 5p of the 45p retail price is donated to the charity.
"The yogurt will be on the shelves of all 260 stores which is a great foot in the door for us as we only currently supply ASDA with Bob the Builder fromage frais. This is the first time we've produced an own label yogurt for the supermarket and it's great that we can support a charity at the same time," said Heather Bardsley, business account executive for ASDA.
Monday 15th September sees the start of the Tickled Pink campaign and the special yogurts are on sale for three weeks. In store events, promotions, collections and specially produced products all helped ASDA raise over £1 million for Breast Cancer Care last year and they hope to top that figure this September.
