Operations manager

With vacancies across Production, Logistics and Project-based roles, we're looking for visionary leaders who will take responsibility for the operations and management team and drive efficiencies through continuous improvement and enhanced performance. The ability to identify talent, develop people and succession plan will be a vital element of your role. Joining us with solid relevant FMCG experience gained in a highly unionised, high volume, fast paced environment, you'll have a passion for delivering results.

Production manager

You will be in the driving seat, ensuring that we produce the highest quality products in the most reliable and cost-effective manner. As a creative, imaginative professional, you will devise and drive innovative new initiatives that will benefit the Production Department and also find new ways to inspire, motivate and develop your team members. You'll ensure that all areas of the operation are properly resourced to meet output and quality targets and will take the lead in delivering continuous improvement. A solid knowledge of LEAN principles will be essential.

Production team leader

As someone who gets the best out of others, you will manage, coach, motivate and inspire your people to perform on a day-to-day basis. You'll be responsible for production mapping and planning with a real focus on achieving the departmental strategy as well as wider business plans. Your role will also involve carrying out work environment audits, managing wastage and getting involved in project work, so a knowledge of LEAN principles will be required. Above all, you will strive to drive continuous improvement at all times by taking an innovative, creative approach and using your imagination to develop ways of making things better.

Production operatives

This is a challenging role but one that you will take pride in doing, as you will be a vital member of the Arla team making sure that our products are of the highest quality for our customers. We'll provide full training including LEAN principles, though any experience of a production environment would be a help - your duties will include operating fillers, checking bottles for faults, monitoring quality, moving trolleys and picking orders. So you should also be physically fit enough for the role.
